Earth Backpack - Sustainable Backpack for School and Everyday use
Was looking for a backpack for college (to fit laptop, water bottle, etc). The size of the backpack was great, but I found the thickness of the straps to be uncomfortable for daily use. Was also a bit heavy for my liking.
I just got it and used it once. I primarily purchased because I loved that it is washable and of course the mission of the company. I wanted the smaller sized backpack but they were all out of stock with no intentions of refilling that size. However, the regular size isn't too big and it compresses if you don't have a lot in it so that's good. Feels very durable and I'd say sleeker than I thought. The laptop sleeve inside is thin but seems to do the job. I'd recommend.
I bought this to use as my work bag and it has been good so far. I love that it is ethically produced and there is plenty of room for my lunch box, laptop, iPad, and wallet. It also holds my 32oz Hydroflask perfectly fine. The only downside is that the canvas has no structure so if my bag isn't full, it is very flimsy. The material and zipper and straps all seem like they will hold up for a long time. Overall, would recommend!
I bought this backpack about 9 months ago and it's seen a good amount of use. I do plan to keep using it but it's showing signs of wear. The fabric (charcoal gray) has faded, which I wasn't really expecting but which makes sense given the natural material. It's fine, it just has even more of a casual look now. A bit of the stitching has started to come undone on one of the seams. I can reinforce it, I'm just a little surprised to see this happening in less than a year. The fabric also started to fray in one area. Hopefully people who buy this product will be open to mending rather than replacing! I do appreciate the lack of plastic.
