You've likely seen two duffel bags offered - the Bumi duffel and the Aarde gym bag. You've read the dimensions but its hard to picture how they compare. I wanted one for a gym bag and one for carry on luggage, so I got both! After stuffing them with blankets, it appears the Bumi is ~20% larger in every dimension. It is a little bigger than a typical backpack, and I'd use it for travel but I would also stick to the smaller Aarde bag for more everyday stuff. The Bumi is the green one on the right in the picture. Both bags are very well made and durable - they hardly 'complained' or loosened a single stitch when gently stuffing them to the brim.
I bought this for my husband, and he loved it. The material is very strong, and it has lots of room. I also love the brown color.
Bumi Eco Duffel Bag
This says its 100% cotton , and I thought it would be a soft bag. Turns out the bag is just regular canvas made with organic cotton. Zipper rather rough zip and not very smooth as you would expect.
Why would I care if its organic considering I am not ingesting it and the bag wil be exposed to the elements anyway and absorb toxins as fabric does. ONLY reason I paid more than a regular canvas is because I thought it would be soft. This bag is an overpriced canvas bag and that is all. Save your money and buy a nora canvas bag for half the price. What a waste. I would love a refund to be honest , but its likely more hassle than its worth to send it back.
